Coco – Final Trailer – Gael García Bernal

Coco Coco tells the story of a 12-year-old boy called Miguel (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez), who sets off a chain of events relating to a century-old mystery, leading to an extraordinary family reunion.

Directed by Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3) and Adrian Molina, and written by the latter, the film also stars the voices of Gael García Bernal, Benjamin Bratt and Renee Victor.

Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

Today sees the release of a short clip called Dante’s Lunch, about the titular canine trying to keep hold of his bone, but there’s someone or something that’d rather like it back…

Coco was due out originally in the UK on December 8th, but has been put back to January 19th, 2018, and based on this clip, it looks like it could be okay, albeit not hugely inspiring.
