Today, the BBC have revealed the outfit which Peter Capaldi will be wearing when Doctor Who Series 8 begins on BBC1 in August this year, returning with Jenna Coleman as companion Clara.
One thing I noticed is that there’s no bow-tie. I guess bow-ties are no longer cool. What of the fez?
As stated previously, old favourites will return including the Doctor’s allies Vastra (Neve McIntosh), Jenny (Catrin Stewart) and Strax (Dan Starkey), and the first two episodes in series 8 will be directed by Ben Wheatley (A Field in England, Sightseers, Kill List).
Also recently, new on-set pictures were shown of Peter Capaldi filming.
