Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 – Trailer 2 – Chris Pratt

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 continues the adventures of Starlord/Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), this time set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, and sees the team traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos.

And now the second official trailer has been released, and the main track heard in this trailer is Fleetwood Mac‘s wonderful The Chain 🙂

In this film, the Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Little else is known at the moment, but while Chris Pratt annoyed me in Jurassic World and The Magnificent Seven, he was decent in the first installment of this series.

Also returning are Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, and there’s Chris Sullivan, Sylvester Stallone, Elizabeth Debicki, Kurt Russell, Nathan Fillion, Tommy Flanagan, Michael Rooker and Glenn Close.

And the music in this trailer is, The Sweet‘s Fox On The Run, a UK No.5 hit in 1975, and their 14th single.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 opens in the UK on April 28th 2017, a whole week ahead of the US day of May 5th, although it’s far off, so expect everything to change by then.
