Rebel in the Rye tells the life of celebrated author – and recluse – JD Salinger (Nicholas Hoult, right), who gained worldwide fame with the publication of his novel, The Catcher in the Rye.
Writer/Director: Danny Strong, based on the biography, “JD Salinger: A Life”, by Kenneth Slawenski.

Rebel in the Rye isn’t a film I particularly fancy, but if it’s for you, then so far it only has a US release date of September 15th.
