She’s Funny That Way stars Owen Wilson as Arnold, a married Broadway director, who falls for prostitute-turned-actress Izzy (Imogen Poots), and works to help her advance her career.
With a large cast including Jennifer Aniston as therapist Jane, plus Lucy Punch, Kathryn Hahn, Jennifer Esposito, Rhys Ifans, Debi Mazar, Will Forte, Cybill Shepherd, Joanna Lumley, Tatum O’Neal, Illeana Douglas and Quentin Tarantino as himself, unfortunately ‘funny’ is the one thing which seems to have escaped this apparent comedy, as it looks absolutely dire.
She’s Funny That Way hasn’t yet got a UK release date but it’s out on the US on April 10th.
