The Monster is a forthcoming horror movie from Bryan Bertino (The Strangers), and stars Zoe Kazan (What If) and Ella Ballentine as a mother and daughter who accidentally run over a dog and find there’s a lot more to things than meets the eye.
Quite what that is, I’m not sure, as it doesn’t give a great deal away in the trailer. Based on what’s here, it could be the new Alien, or it could be miles away from something of that quality. I do want to check it out, though.
Also starring Aaron Douglas, Christine Ebadi, Chris Webb and Scott Speedman (Michael from the first two Underworld movies), The Monster doesn’t yet have a UK release date or anywhere else, but hopefully it’ll be out sooner rather than later. The trailer states it’ll be sometime this year.
