UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e April 27th 2013Going straight in at No.1 is Rudimental Feat. Ella Eyre with Waiting All Night and it’s typical of a lot of dull dance music these days. The backing beats are all the same. How depressing.

As such, Duke Dumont Feat. A*M*E drops to No.4 with Need U (100%) and, for a modern dance track, I rather enjoyed this. It borrows notes from late 80s dance tracks like Inner City’s Good Life, which probably did exactly the same back in the day.

And last week’s No.2, The Wizard Of Oz Film Cast drops to No.65 with the 51-second track Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead.
