Blood: Refreshed Supply on PC / Steam – The DVDfever Review

Blood: Refreshed Supply Blood: Refreshed Supply… It’s blood-y hard, but I remember first playing this with a ‘big box’ version in 1997.

I missed the remastered form in 2019, Blood: Fresh Supply, but now, we have another slight coat of paint in 2025, in Blood: Refreshed Supply, which has some extra mods that have been added along the way – Marrow, Cryptic Passage, and with Death Wish expected to be included in future, and there’s some homebrew maps thrown in, too.

It’s also been brought up to date with modern systems – something a lot of ’90s games of the time struggle with, if you try to run them today. Plus, it’s also in 60fps, with graphics up to 4K, even though it still looks like it was made in the heyday.

But to make the bad joke again, it’s blood-y hard… and I need more bullets and bombs tout suite!

Compared to the likes of DOOM, Quake and Duke Nukem 3D, back in the day, it was an 8/10, then. Nowadays, a 6/10 overall. I wouldn’t say it’s worth £25 for its current full-price, so, wait for a sale. I understand those with Blood: Fresh Supply got this update for a third of the new price.

Check out some gameplay below….

Score: 6/10

Thanks to our friends at Atari for the review code for this game.
