Days and Nights shows how reckless desire wreaks havoc over Memorial Day weekend as a family confronts the volatile and fragile nature of love. Inspired by Anton Chekhov’s “The Seagull,” set in rural New England during the 1980s.
Or, rather, it’s a tedious family-based drama that’ll send you to sleep, and despite the fact that Katie Holmes heads the cast in this, she barely made a dent in the trailer.
Also starring Allison Janney, Ben Whishaw, Jean Reno, William Hurt and Michael Nyqvist, it has a great cast, but like The Judge, they’re all wasted on this rubbish.
Days and Nights doesn’t have a UK release date yet, but is out in the US on September 26th.
