33 (26) Snow Patrol – Open Your Eyes

A storming track, starting off softly before blasting out all over the place, it was used during thefinale of last year’s ER season as a shootout left Abby collapsing in a pool of blood – but her baby wasjust born a little premature and she hadn’t miscarried, and Kovac had been stabbed with a paralysingagent, Veck, which actually would’ve done little to incapacitate a big hulking bastard like him, andas we saw at the start of season 13, Kerry wandered in and saw the pair of them moments later so everythingwas fine after all.

Anyway, back to the music and this one is superb. Miss it at your peril. Cool video as well, as it usesfootage from C’était un rendez-vous (“It was a date”), a short film made in 1976 by Claude Lelouch, showingan eight-minute drive through Paris at 5:30 A.M.
