39 Eric Clapton – Circus
The excellent and much-played on the radio “My Father’s Eyes” made No.33 inApril, but this radio-ignored track enters at a lower place.
32 DJ Rap – Bad Girl
I’ve heard this briefly and it’s not much cop, but who cares. She’s a babe!
21 Space – Begin Again *
Not as good as their previous tracks but a worthy one all the same, despitebeing their lowest chart position to date.
18 Aaron Carter – Surfin’ USA :O ===
His records get worse and worse, this one being excrutiatingly painful.
16 Ultra – Say It Once
Boy-band time again. Very drab.
6 Eagle-Eye Cherry – Save Tonight *
The brother of Neneh Cherry releases a single and it does as well as itdeserves, accompanied by an interesting video in which Eagle-Eye plays all themajor parts. On second viewing you can spot the joins, but first time round itlooks seamless.
5 Beastie Boys – Intergalactic
Now hitting the heights again for the first time since 1987’s “Licenced To Ill”album, but this one isn’t a patch on that album of 1993’s “Sabotage”.
1 (1) Baddiel, Skinner & The Lightning Seeds – 3 Lions 98 *3rd Week at No.1*
The first one was good, but this reworking doesn’t quite work as well,particularly with the start’s high-pitched warbling of “We still believe”,down to the homage paid to two of the England team who have been ditched since,namely Gazza and Stuart Pearce.
And now there’s five weeks of the World Cup to endure. Pass the coma pills…

After the first two singles from “Travelling Without Moving” which were”Virtual Insanity” and “Cosmic Girl”, “Alright” was just as funky as the restand made No.6 in May, followed by a fourth single “High Times” which madeNo.20 in December.
Jay Kay, boyfriend of the Big Breakfast’s Denise Van (not Van) Outen, will beback in the Top 10 soon when “Deeper Underground” is released on July 20th,a track which is taken from the “Godzilla” soundtrack.
