Soul Sessions
Take an ordinary looking girl who’s apparently 16, dress her up in a loadof hippy shit, hype her up as the new ‘Alanis Morrissette’, do a dire coverof a White Stripes song and swap the gender, bake for four minutes and youhave the Emperor’s New Clothes.
Just what sort of goofballs are the music media on by declaring this talentlesswaste of space as some kind of music goddess?
So is that how this pretend-lesbian got into the pop charts?
Weird one this. It stop-starts as if it really doesn’t know its owndirection, and when it does get into full flow in the chorus, it’s as blandas bland can be. Shame when she’s such a hottie…
