New entries from No.41-75. See who missed out this time round :
Now we have a song that’s quite a depressing one but a touch of classnonetheless and gets right under your skin. Another MTV2 favourite.
20 The Corrs – Irresistible :O ===Christ, what a load of crap! Their last turgid mess, Breathless, waslapped up by the single-buying public, but thankfully they’ve seen the lightwith what is a carbon copy of that one.Now when will The Corrs get back to making PROPER music!?
13 Louise – Beautiful InsideI bet she’ll be next for the chop after the recent bands and artists thathave been dumped by their record companies. Her album’s doing badly too. 7 Nelly – Hot ShitMmm.. spicy curries! 2 (4) Baha Men – Who Let the Dogs OutApparently his had a 75% increase in sales last week but still dropped afew places after the Top 3 were all new entries. I wish they had beat Westlifethough. 1 Westlife – My Love *1st Week at No.1*Haven’t heard this one yet, but it marks their seventh No.1 in a rowwhich apparently ties them with the Beatles, but getting to No.1 is hardlya chore these days, unless you’re in Scooch.
This coming week will see the fight out between new albums from Westlife andthe Spice Girls. I reckon Westlife will triumph easily.
Anyone know how many copies Westlife’s and Spice Girls’ singles sold in thefirst week?
This single is the 36th in a row to go straight in at No.1.

Dominator’s Top 50 of 1999
45. Sting – Brand New DayThis was the first single to be released from the same-titled albumand made No.13 in September last year.
It was followed by Desert Rose (No.15, Jan 2000) and the dreadfulAfter the Rain Has Fallen (No.31, April 2000), for which the video had a”Lionel Richie: Dancing on the Ceiling” feel to it.
The end bit :
Well, that’s it for now. If you want to be added to the WidescreenVideo and Laserdisc lists, just mail me.
Bye for now,
Dominator
