Wonderful Night
[Palookaville]
Far from wonderful. This was performed on Jonathan Ross’ show a few weeksago and it drove me up the wall then. I doubt it’s improved.
Right to Be Wrong
[Mind, Body & Soul]
Right to be very dull indeed. Please stop making records.
A Little Bit of Action
I couldn’t think of anything less I’d want from this repugnant freak, hailed as the winner of Big Brother 5,courtesy of selective editing and a brainwashing of the public that he wasn’t really a shouting weirdo whowas still given his fags when the rest had to live on rations.
BB5 made for a far better show all-round than BB4, so here’s hoping they get it right again next year, apartfrom the odd one or two, but once Victor had left there was only one other straight-talker left in the house,Jason, and he was just shown to be a moody bastard when that should’ve been levelled at the transsexual wotsit.
Know It’s Christmas?
[Live Aid DVD]
Probably not, since their Xmas is in January.
Do the “stars” performing know what the whole Band Aid event is about? Doubtful, since Busted were asked andshowed their knowledge by saying to the cameraman, “Well, we read the leaflet in the back o’ the car and itlooked really bad” (!)
Will I be buying this single? No. I’ll be getting the Live Aid DVD, but this new single is a godawful mess.Bono loves himself too much and the rest are either young upstarts or Chris “I reckon I’m the new BobGeldof” Martin. Bunch of attention seekers, the lot of them.
Damien Rice’s cover was far better, with a young child sat in the lap of the grim reaper. Just replace thechild with this recording and do us all a favour.
This is the 5th single going straight in at No.1:
- 1. Ja Rule/R Kelly/Ashanti – Wonderful
- 2. Eminem – Just Lose It
- 3. U2 – Vertigo
- 4. Girls Aloud – I’ll Stand By You
- 5. Band Aid 20 – Do They Know It’s Christmas?
