Music chart summary: w/e January 15th 2011…
This week, Rihanna climbed to the No.1 slot after 8 weeks in the chart with What’s My Name?, an auto-tunedhell hole that’s one of many songs to feature some supposed ‘rapper’ waffling a right load of old shit over thetop of it. On the plus side, it knocks Matt Cardle off the top slot and into second position.
Meanwhile, there are new entries in the Top 40 for:
- 15 Nero – Me & You
Lower entries outside the Top 40 include:
- 42 White Lies – Bigger Than Us
- 56 Trackstarz – Grenade
- 79 JLS feat. Tinie Tempah – Eyes Wide Shut
- 89 The Lonely Island feat. Akon – I Just Had Sex
In the album charts, Rihanna retains the top slot with Loud, with Plan B at No.2 and Take That at No.3.
The other new entries come from:
- Erm… none at all. Things haven’t yet picked up at all after Xmas.
