Of this week’s highlights and lowlights…

5 Alien Ant Farm – Movies *Another top track from AAF, but on listening to the album there aren’tmany other choice tracks on it.

4 (5) Puretone – Addicted to Bass *I saw the Mad Max-inspired video for the first time last week and notethat the music’s been used a few times on Tommy Boyd’s Human Zoo (Sun,10pm-1am) or other TalkSport shows.

2 No Doubt – Hey Baby :O ===A far cry from their “Tragic Kingdom” album and it sounds like Pink’sinfluences have become those of lead singer Gwen Stefani, which is a badthing.

1 (1) Enrique Iglesias – Hero *3rd Week at No.1*

Obviously the PR machine is in operation this time.

He reached No.4 with “Bailamos” in September 1999 and then No.7 inSeptember 2000 with “Could I Have This Kiss Forever”, but after that he’sonly released flop singles. So how has this shot into the top slot?

This is the 3rd single in a row to go straight in at No.1 :

  • 1. Aaliyah – More Than a Woman
  • 2. George Harrison – My Sweet Lord (R)
  • 3. Enrique Iglesias – Hero
