This version just has nothing to recommend it though. It sounds like a watereddown version of the original and the vocals detract rather than add anything.
8 Mis-Teeq – Why?Why indeed? Does the UK chart need another four-piece girl band that’ll bearound for a handful of singles, only to disappear again later? 6 Texas – Inner SmileSharleen Spiteri dresses up as Elvis, but the song is still the same oldbland thing we’ve come to expect from them lately. 5 Feeder – Buck Rogers *A brilliant single and, AFAIK, their highest-placed hit to date. I can’tremember exactly how it goes as I type though. 1 Jennifer Lopez – Love Don’t Cost a Thing :O === *1st Week at No.1*Fairly nice video, shame about the song. It’s a dull, insipid, pseudo-R&Brip-off of everything that’s ever gone before.

3. Ian Brown – Golden GazeMaking No.29 in June last year, weird and wonderful, some of his tunes havebeen rather bizarre but I’ve had this one drummed into me on MTV2 and I’vereally got into it.
It makes no sense at all, and the video was directed by Dom Joly (TriggerHappy TV), but I urge you to check it out.
