Christonabike, do I despair at the single-buying public!
For a start, I hate the “I’m a Z-List Celebrity, Where’s My Career?” show and ITV have a lotto answer for, but this cover version takes the biscuit.
It features 80s DJ Mike Read, 90s reject Peter Andre, Fatboy Fat Neil (Why is he called) “Razor” Ruddockand also Lord Brocket, who doesn’t seem to sing but just dances next to the others in a Richard Madeleyfashion. In fact, I thought it WAS Richard Madeley next to them!
It’s a cover version of the old track, and if I find anyone who’s bought it, I’ll personally come roundto your house and murder you.
Quite a decent track for the charts and one that gets very Beatlesy towardsthe end.
No top-ten for a boyband means instant dismissal from a record company. Here’shoping their time has come.
Another cover-version king, which is all I seem to hear out of him. Howpointless.
If this track’s an original song, then I’ll still not care.

A song about MILFs (look it up, or watch American Pie), but a dull one at that.
This Is Me… Then
Taking the riff from the Midnight Cowboy theme, this dire tripe featuresself-satisfied Daddy’s girl Jennifer Lopez waffling on and getting her smugface into the camera as she simpers away at being in love, yet she goesthrough fiancees like a knife through butter.
Dreadful dance record, but it makes chart history as one of the few climbersto the top slot in recent years.
In fact, this stops the run of 58 singles going straight in at No.1 which beganwith Aaliyah’s More Than a Woman in w/c January 19th 2002.
