The UK’s great Eurovision hope, due to take place on Saturday 20th May at 8pm on BBC1, and if anysong stops countries from avoiding voting for us due to the war in Iraq then this is it, as 40-plusDaz Sampson sings a two-year-old song with young women in their 20s dressed as schoolgirls.

Well, if other countries can go completely hatstand with their songs then so can we.

I could say this is the first single in a row, so to speak, to go straightin at No.1, but I doubt this is something that’s going to become a regularthing just yet.
