13 new entries this week, 0 climbers, 0 non-movers and 27 going down.
Big fallers include Cast from Casualty (5 to 16), Shed Seven (11 to 28),Ginuwine (13 to 31) and Lionrock (20 to 34).

18 Iron Maiden – The Angel and the Gambler
First new single from Iron Maiden in a long time and about the only thingit’s got going for it is their mascot Eddie appearing in the video again.
Apart from that the video’s pretty crap and the song is sooo boring!
17 James – Destiny Calling * !!!
Hopefully this won’t be the last we hear from them but for now this is theprecursor to their greatest hits album.
The song is about how the destiny of manufactured stars is carved out for them,not by themselves but by other people. An interesting line comes when the videofocuses on a couple watching the TV, “She like the black one, he likes the poshone, cute ones are usually gay.”
14 Kylie Minogue – Breathe
Third single which I’ve not heard much of, but Kylie is fast becoming thenew Peter Gabriel. He had 4 self-titled albums and she’s just released herthird (although the second of those was just “Kylie”), with the new onebeing changed from “Impossible Princess” which those in power thoughtinappropriate after the death of Princess Diana…
…the fact that the two things were completely unrelated clearly havingnothing to do with it.
13 The Wombles – Remember You’re A Womble
Of all the things they could have revived….

10 Alexia – Uh La La La :O ===
Italian football team mascot with dodgy Europop that wouldn’t look out ofplace if sung by Gina G.
Apparently this song made No.1 in Italy, and so did two others she made.Oh dear.
4 Texas featuring The Wu Tang Clan – Say What You Want/Insane :O ===
What on earth were Texas playing at when they decided with have the Wu TangClan ruin a good song?
They made three videos for this “remix” and didn’t like any of them so thepromo being used is that of their appearance on the Brits when Wu Tang’sMethod Man appeared alongside Sharleen doing typical Bitty McLean-type rubbishby spouting gobshite inbetween and over the original words of the song.
It makes my blood boil.
2 Spice Girls – Stop
So the seventh single from the Spice Girls is halted from getting to the topslot.
“Wannabe” went in at No.3 and climbed to the top the following week, but allthe other five have gone straight in at No.1, and this one looked set to do thesame until something got in its way. Still, there’s always next week.
1 Run DMC vs. Jason Nevins – It’s Like That *1st Week at No.1*
So DJ Jason Nevins ruins an old Run DMC track, as well as a forthcomingreworking of a Beastie Boys track, “Hold It Now, Hit It” which appeared on their1987 “Licenced To Ill” album which housed their most well-known hit, “(You’veGotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)”.
This single starts off another set of singles going straight to No.1 probably.

One of the few decent dance tracks last year, this one was used by Sky in theirself-congratulatory ads and it made No.7 in February last year.
After that came “Raw Power” which made No.32 in July, although their plannedfollow-up “Carrera Rapida (Theme from Rapid Racer)” kept getting delayedand then never surfaced.
