6 Victoria Beckham – A Mind of It’s Own :O ===Her third solo single and she’s been told that if this didn’t hit No.1 thenher record contract may have to be cancelled. Let’s hope so. 2 S Club 7 – You :O ===What a dreadful, bland record this is. Some of their records used to betwee but this one really takes the biscuit and it has no artistic meritswhatsoever. 1 (1) Enrique Iglesias – Hero *4th Week at No.1*Obviously the PR machine is in operation this time.
He reached No.4 with “Bailamos” in September 1999 and then No.7 inSeptember 2000 with “Could I Have This Kiss Forever”, but after that he’sonly released flop singles. So how has this shot into the top slot?

Dominator’s Top 50 of 2001After last week’s look back at all the Top 50 tracks of last year, this week sees the list of my Top 50 of 2001. From next week I shallbegin my look back at them.
8. REM – All the Way to RenoMaking No.24 in August last year, this sounded quite a bit like the B-52’s”Follow Your Bliss”, an instrumental track from the 1989 “Cosmic Thing” album.
It was preceeded by the almost equally excellent “Imitation of Life” (No.6,May 2001) and succeeded by “I’ll Take the Rain” (No.44, Dec 2001).
