and 26 going down. Big fallers include :
New entries from No.41-75. See who missed out this time round :
An energetic dance track and a soulful female voice from someone that canactually sing – something sorely missing from these charts.
Just a shame it didn’t get higher.
15 Queen & Vanguard – FlashI dread to think what this is like. 7 Simply Red – SunriseLiam said it best in hisLiam’s Liner Notes Vol.4in that this single just takes Hall & Oates’ “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do)”and copies it note for note (ie. ripping their backing track out directly)and adds absolutely nothing at all. It’s a complete meandering mess, withno actual song to it. 3 Richard X and Liberty X – Being NobodyA cross between Rufus and Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody” and The Human League’s”Being Boiled”, but it seems to have been around so long that ‘Nobody’sinterested anymore. 2 Mis-Teeq – ScandalousMaking their mark as the UK version of Destiny’s Child, but their musicis soooo bland. 1 (1) Gareth Gates and the Kumars – Spirit in the Sky :O === *2nd Week at No.1*Bog-standard cover version for Comic Relief, with The Kumars talkingcrap all over it. Terrible.
This is the 34th single in a row to go straight into the Top 40 at No.1 :

- 2. George Harrison – My Sweet Lord (R)
- 3. Enrique Iglesias – Hero
