Of this week’s highlights and lowlights…

29 Cleopatra – Come and Get MeI had to laugh when I saw Cleopatra on last week’s Lottery show trying topromote Hulme in Manchester as the place to be. It’s the biggest dump in theworld and no amount of money can make it look good.

16 Placebo – Taste in Men * !!!Although it has a highly-repetitive line of “change your taste in men”,it’s an exceptionally well-done track that doesn’t sound like it belongs inthe charts because it verges too far on the gothic sides of music.

It gets regular airplay on MTV2 and I also heard it on Saturday night inManchester’s Mutz Nutz club, the first time I’d been in there (andit’s well-recommended, and no I didn’t get paid to say that 🙂

3 Louise – 2 FacedA rather mediocre effort from the achingly-gorgeous ex-Eternal singer.

1 Five & Queen – We Will Rock You :O === *1st Week at No.1*Is it really with ‘Queen’ or just Brian May on the cover? Either way,it’s pointless and atrocious, compared to the original.
