Of this week’s highlights and lowlights…

42 TJ Davis – Wonderful LifeWhat a monotonous disaster! I thought it might not have been too bad ifthey’d thrown in the occasional key change, but they couldn’t even be botheredwith that!

A cover of the original by Black (where is Colin Vearncombe these days?),but dancified to the point where it stinks to high heaven.

2 Gordon Haskell – How Wonderful You AreI haven’t heard this but it’s one of those tracks pulled out from nowhereand plugged all over the shop by radio and TV stations so as to differentiatefrom the sure-fire Xmas No.1s.

1 Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman – Somethin’ Stupid *2nd Week at No.1*

This year Robbie’s pulled off the double with the Xmas No.1 single and album.A shame neither are really much cop.
