Terrible and more bland shite from this alleged singer-songwriter. One of the biggest songs of the yearwas his No.1, You’re Beautiful, and people play it at their weddings… despite it meaning somethingentirely different, since he doesn’t actually get the girl he’s singing about, and when it gets to the endof the video he’s so annoyed that he gets a gun out and shoots himself. Don’t see that one on TOTP!
Put both bland songs together and it makes you want to take the gun out of his hand, shoot Dido for beingequally bland, and then shoot James Blunt to stop him making another album.

Re-released as a charity single. Am I the only one who was never particuarly bowled over by this inthe first place?
And the TV censorship of this track has been odd. MTV and VH1 banned the word “faggot”, an old BBC2TOTP performance showed the line changed from “you cheap lousy faggot” to “you’re cheapand you’re haggard” and CD:UK banned Katie Melua from singing “arse”, but then she always doessing total arse(!)
That’s My Goal
Nearly 750,000 copies of this have been sold, either by physical CD single or download, and all tocomplete and utter dickheads continuing to buy into the belief that reality TV extends beyond the show.
The fact is, those same people would’ve bought this whatever the song was and whatever the outcome ofthe winner of the show, so they’re not buying this for either the song or the singer. I despair.
