Now You See Me 3 is on the way, and the first movie of this franchise was released in 2013, quickly gaining a lot of popularity and love due to its high-quality production and fascinating plot which centers around the actions of a team of illusionists named ‘The Horsemen’, who pull off near impossible heists. The sequel was even more brash and more headache-inducing than the first one, taking over $334m worldwide. And now, Lionsgate has hired the American Hustle writer Erin Warren Singer to help script Now You See Me 3. Plus, due to Singer’s fresh and innovative writing style, this threequel is guaranteed to be even more engaging and thrilling than its precedents.
The first two movies featured high-profile actors like Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson (both also teaming up in the Zombieland franchise), Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman among others. And while there has been no cast approved for the new movie, we know that we will see some new faces on the screen alongside our beloved characters like Daniel Atlas, and Jack Wilder. We don’t know much about the new cast but we do know that it includes none other than the industry-favourite, Benedict Cumberbatch. While introducing some new characters to the movie, Singer will still give the original cast the opportunity to reprise their roles and continue on their adventure.
The plot of this movie is yet a mystery to all of us. But according to the description of Jeremy Dick of MovieWeb, the movie will feature a whole new lineup which will interact with the original Four Horsemen. The idea seems to be to move on from what we have already seen in the first two films and offer a completely new experience.
The thing that will make Now You See Me 3 the best one yet is the fact that it focuses on the fine art of illusion deception, and magic, which happens to be something Singer has always been fascinated with. The tricks used in the previous Now You See Me films are noticeably very well-executed. This is due to the fact that the movie uses magic consultants and experts who take the execution to another level. And this year, Jonathan Bayme and his company, Theory 11, will be joining the production by providing detailed guidance through every single trick and stunt.
These magic tricks are exactly the thing that makes this movie as interesting and engaging as it is. It is really hard to find someone who doesn’t find this performance art incredibly entertaining. The number of people getting into this scene is actually increasing daily, but not as fast as expected due to the fact that it’s pretty difficult to execute these intricate and seemingly impossible feats.
But luckily, there are other options too for those people that can’t manage to get the hang of them. Something that can offer the same thrill as doing these tricks is gambling.
