Sony’s PlayStation Vita will receive a free YouTube app, the platform holder has announced.
Launching at the end of June, the PlayStation Vita YouTube app will contain “many of the functions you’re already familiar with”.
Users will have access to their personal YouTube accounts, as well as the ability to search, view and comment on the site’s millions of videos. Writing on the PlayStation blog, Sony promises to add more “unique, social and immersive experiences” to the Vita in the coming months.
The PlayStation Vita YouTube app joins the likes of Paint Park, Treasure Park, Wake-up Club and Skype, all of which were announced in April.
Skype is available to download now through PSN via the ‘Media & Apps Social’ category. It adds video and audio calls to the device.
