Theres an extra festive sparkle about Sesame Street this holiday season with the release of two magical tales on a very special double DVD set, released on 10th November by Abbey Home Media.
Elmos Christmas Countdown is a brand new story, never before seen on television. Elmo, Abby Cadabby and their new friend Stiller the Elf (voiced by Ben Stiller) are going to count down to Christmas, but disaster strikes when they discover that all the counting boxes have gone missing! Without them Christmas may never come can they save the day? Luckily Elmo has a few friends to help him save Christmas in the form of some very special guests including Sheryl Crow, Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys. In this magical tale Elmo and friends learn that Christmas miracles can really happen.
In Christmas Eve on Sesame Street everybody is excited about Christmas until Oscar asks Big Bird a question which sends him into a spin: How does a guy like Santa Claus, with his big round belly, come down all those skinny chimneys?. Big Bird frets that if he doesnt answer the Grouchs question, there wont be any presents delivered for Christmas Day! Luckily, with the help of his Sesame Street friends Big Bird not only finds the answer to his question, but discovers the true meaning of the spirit of Christmas.
