Training Day director Antione Fuqua proves that every man has a moment of truth in the hard-hitting cop action thriller BROOKLYN’S FINEST, released on Blu-ray and DVD by Momentum Pictures on 18 October 2010.

The outstanding, award-winning all star ensemble cast comprises Ethan Hawke (Assault on Precinct 13, Lord of War, Training Day), Don Cheadle (Iron Man 2, Traitor, Ocean’s 11), Wesley Snipes (Blade, Blade II, Blade Trinity), Lili Taylor (Public Enemies, The Notorious Bettie Page), Vincent D’Onofrio (Law and Order: Criminal Intent), Ellen Barkin (The Fan, Ocean’s Thirteen) and Richard Gere (Internal Affairs, The Jackal). Their uncompromising characters try to conquer their own demons whilst trying to stay alive.

Directed by Antione Fuqua (Shooter, Training Day), this gritty, edge-of-your-seat urban cop drama is a must own for fans of The Wire, as it also stars Michael K. Williams (Omar Little) and Isiah Whitlock Jr. (Clay Davis) from the hit HBO show.

Burnt out veteran Eddie Dugan (Gere) is just one week away from his pension and a fishing cabin in Connecticut. Narcotics officer Sal Procida (Hawke) has discovered there’s no line he won’t cross to provide a better life for his long-suffering wife and seven children. “Tango” Butler (Cheadle) has been undercover so long his loyalties have started to shift from his fellow police officers to his prison buddy Caz (Snipes), one of Brooklyn’s most infamous drug dealers.

With personal and work pressures bearing down on them, each man faces daily tests of judgement and honour in one of the world’s most difficult jobs. Eddie, Sal and Tango are never destined to meet, until an organised drug raid leads them to the same crime scene…

BROOKLYN’S FINEST includes an insightful ‘behind-the-scenes making of’ along with interviews with the cast and crew plus much more…
