Posted: September 10th, 2010.
The worlds most dysfunctional family, The Griffins, are back as Family Guy Season 9 comes to DVD from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment on 1st November 2010. If you thought theyd been rude and crude before you aint seen nothin yet, as the family gets down and dirty in the latest instalment of the hit animated series.
As diabolically clever as ever, one-year-old Stewie is still hell bent on world domination, and in the critically acclaimed episode Road to the Multiverse, he creates a remote that takes him and sarcastic family pet, Brian, to an array of parallel universes. The oddball pair seem to find the perfect place to live – everything appears as if was animated by Walt Disney! However, following a rather tasty musical interlude about pie, things take a more twisted turn
Life for the rest of the family is just as interesting when Peter Griffin regresses to learn that he was the founder of Quahog in a previous life, Louis, becomes a Fox News reporter and struggles with her conscience over a Micheal Moore exposé, and Meg becomes even more of a social outcast when Chris suddenly becomes popular!
Emmy© Award-winning executive producer Seth MacFarlane doesnt fail to keep the foul and fantastic gags coming one after the other – the Family Guy Season 9 Box Set features all 15 episodes extended with too rude for TV scenes, 48 deleted scenes, a Road to the Multiverse featurette and 12 creator, cast and artist commentaries.
