FOX ANNOUNCE BLU-RAY EXCLUSIVE RELEASES FOR AUTUMN 2008
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Pathé Distribution Ltd are proud to present 12 fantastic must-have catalogue Blu-ray(BD) releases on 6 October 2008. The impressive slate includes BD releases for modern sci-fi thrillers Night Watch and DayWatch, which are released both separately and together as a double-pack. Experience a dazzling mix of state-of-the-artvisual effects and amazing action sequences in thrilling high-definition, as the forces of Light clash with the Dark inan epic battle to save existence. For fans of horror, The Omen Trilogy will also be released for the first time as a Blu-raybox-set. This chilling and suspenseful collection tells the full story of The Omen, which begins when an American Diplomatsubstitutes an adopted child for his dead son, unwittingly bringing evil into his world.
Get in on the action as several heart-stopping, high-octane films come to BD for the first time, including House of FlyingDaggers, Resident Evil and Rescue Dawn. Packed with brand-new material, the Blu-ray release of Resident Evil allows you togo further behind the scenes than ever before, with a director video introduction, 12 new featurettes, and a Blu-ray Wizardaddition to assist you in creating your own playlist from the special features. New material will also feature on RescueDawn, including a featurette to help prepare you for survival and a Before the Dawn mission secrets trivia track.

Blu-ray Disc is a next generation optical disc format developed for High Definition video and high-capacity software applications. A single-layer Blu-ray Disc holds up to 25 gigabytes of data and a dual-layer Blu-ray Disc holds up to 50 gigabytes of data. This greater storage capacity enables the Blu-ray Disc to store over six times the amount of content than is possible with current DVDs, and is particularly well-suited for High Definition feature films with extended levels of additional bonus and interactive material, as well as next generation computer games.
Blu-ray Disc also features the most advanced copy protection, player backward compatibility with the current DVD format, connectivity and advanced interactivity.
