In this classic TV sitcom, BAFTA-winning comedienne Wendy Craig (Butterflies, Not in Front of the Children) plays widow Sally Harrison, the flustered and harassed mother trying her best to raise two very cheeky sons with the help of Auntie (Valerie Lush). Sally also works as a vets assistant, where her dottiness constantly tests the patience of her long-suffering boss, Mr. Campbell (George Selway).
This latest DVD instalment sees Sally with a new neighbour, a new boss, and a new romance…
The misadventures of Sally and her sons proved heart-warming and endearing to TV audiences. It became one of the top ITV shows of the early 1970s and its success spawned a spin-off show And Mother Makes Five.
The DVD is released on June 22nd, it runs for 150 mins and retails for £12.99 on DVD,but is currently on Amazon at the link above for £8.48.
