Bluebell Films is delighted to announce the release of Gabriele Muccinos award winning bittersweet dramaRemember Me (aka Ricordarti Di Me), about a dysfunctional middle class Italian family, starring the stunningMonica Belluci. It will be available to buy on DVD on 8 October 2007.
Written and directed by Muccino whos critically acclaimed box office smash The Last Kiss, brought him tointernational attention winning five Donatello awards including Best Director, as well as the audience prizeat Sundance in 2002, he has recently directed the Oscar nominated Hollywood blockbuster The Pursuit Of Happynessstarring Will Smith.
Carlo (Fabrizio Bentivogli – Hotel) and Giulia (Laura Morante – Molière) are a married couple whose marriage hasbecome stale, having given up their aspirations in order to live an average life. Their teenage children arestruggling with their impending adulthood, their son, Paolo (Silvo Muccino) is having trouble finding anidentity, while their daughter, Valentina (Nicoletta Romanoff) has already discovered how to use her sexualityto get what she wants. The family is blown apart when Carlo begins an affair, with the beautiful Allessia(Belluci The Matrix).
Remember Me was nominated for ten Donatello Awards, and won Best Producer, Best Screenplay, and Best SupportingActress (for Bellucci) from the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists.
