On January 22, 2000 Second Sight Films will release one of the most ‘brutal’films depicting football violence on video and for the first time ever on DVD.
Gary Oldman stars as Bex Bissek, a respectable estate agent who loves his wife,loves his son and loves his violence. Bex is the leader of a gang of footballsupporters known as the Inter-City Crew – his firm. He plans to unite rivalfirms and lead them all to the European championship in Germany, a chance totake on the locals. But that’s a position he’s going to have to fight for.
From Alan Clark, the director of ‘Scum’ comes this gripping and gruesome drama.With its graphic scenes of running battles with knives, sledgehammers andbaseball bats, THE FIRM stirred up massive controversy when it was firstscreened and demands were made for the film to be banned. The response to thefilm was staggering.
THE FIRM, will be released on video and DVD on January 22, 2001 from allmajor video retailers priced at £10.99 for video and £15.99 for DVD.
