She The People is a forthcoming series from Netflix, from Tyler Perry.
Synopsis: It centers on Antoinette Dunkerson (Terry J Vaughn), Mississippi’s first Black lieutenant governor, who must navigate the chaos of politics and home life after winning a tough election. Antoinette juggles a zany family and an old-school boss as she tries to make a difference in a male-dominated government. The comedy follows her ambitions and misadventures as she learns that shining in public service can be even more complicated than running for office.
She The People is released on May 22nd, and we might check this one out.
