The Way Way Back out on Blu-ray & DVD from December 26th

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment are due to release The Way Way Back out on Blu-ray & DVD from December 26th, from the Academy Award-winning duo Nat Faxon (The Descendants) and Jim Rash (The Descendants) make their directorial debut in the heartfelt and hilarious coming of age tale The Way Way Back which is released on Digital HD on 21st December and Blu-ray and DVD on 26th December from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Dive into the story of awkward teen Duncan (Liam James: The Killing, Psych) learning to embrace his individuality through the help of an unconventional mentor. Along with a classic cast including Steve Carell (The 40 Year Old Virgin, Crazy Stupid Love, The Office), Toni Collette (Little Miss Sunshine, About a Boy) and Sam Rockwell (Moon, Iron Man 2, Seven Psychopaths), this original script will resonate with anyone who has experienced a family vacation-past or present.

After being dragged on a family trip with his mum Pam (Collette) and her overbearing boyfriend Trent (Carell), 14 year old Duncan finds a gregarious friend called Owen (Rockwell) at a local water park. The two form a powerful bond as Duncan learns to swim through the challenges of life, love, family and friendship, resulting in a vacation he’ll never forget.
