Justin Bieber goes back up to No.1, in the UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e January 7th 2016, with Love Yourself, and he did tweet to 72 million followers that “It’s okay not to be No.1 for a week” and for everyone to buy the NHS Choir song instead.
As such, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir drop from No.1 to… No.29. It really is a syrupy sweet rubbish mix of Simon & Garfunkel’s Bridge Over Troubled Water and Coldplay’s Fix You, but it’s all for charidee.
And, for week 3 on release, X-Factor winner Louisa Johnson drops from No.12 to… No.61!
There are no new entries in the Top 10.
And at No.95 in the album charts, where there’s only four re-entries, it’s The Beatles‘ 1967-1970, and from that album, Lady Madonna, which I remember popping up in one of my favourite ’80s videogames, Bomb Jack.
