UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e October 29th 2011Staying at No.1 this week is tube-travelling Rihanna with Calvin Harris and We Found Love

You can see the video here, although it is lame in the extreme as she clearly hasn’t bothered making one. As for the song, it’s a very average piece of dance pop.

As such, it stops The Wanted getting any further than No.2 with Lightning.

  • 2 The Wanted – Lightning
  • 6 Kelly Clarkson – Mr. Know It All
  • 9 Lana Del Rey – Video Games
  • 11 Sean Paul feat. Alexis Jordan – Got 2 Luv U
  • 21 Justin Bieber – Mistletoe

In the album charts, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds goes straight in at No.1 with his self-titled debut album, but thanks to his brother, Liam, having a separate band with Beady Eye, that means we now have TWO Beatles tribute bands instead of one(!). Steps drop down to No.3 with The Ultimate Collection.
