Rachel Platten climbs from No.68 to No.1, in the UK Top 100 Music chart summary w/e September 3rd 2015, with Fight Song, and it’s the most pedestrian and autotuned piece of utter bilge ever to have surfaced from the deepest surface of the bottom of my bottom.
As such, Jess Glynne drops from No.1 to No.3 with Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself, and I love a bit of dance music when it’s got piano in it – something that has always happened quite a lot, and Ms Glynne has got a hell of a voice on her, so this is a great track.
The only other action in the Top 10 is a climber from No.54 to No.2 for Felix Jaehn feat. Jasmine Thompson with Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better).
Now, I bet The Sun’s Dan Wootton claims tomorrow that the Top 2 singles are new entries, when they’re actually CHART entries (which he does a lot), but then The Sun always talk complete bollocks.
