Every Tom Hanks Movie in 7 Minutes sounds like an interesting idea, but unfortunately, it also included the godawful James Corden as part of his first new The Late Late Show with James Corden, having taken over from Craig Ferguson.
Corden was initially tolerable back when he began, but somehow the overhyped Gavin and Stacey blew out of all proportion when the first series was moderately funny, and subsequent ones got worse and worse. Yet, the more that was made, the more it was revered. God knows why.
It took me a little while to get round to watching this, as I wasn’t sure if I could stomach it. Quite frankly, it’s piss poor. In fact, it shows that James Corden is about as funny as a bag of rancid cat sick.
All they do is briefly reference the films of Tom Hanks, such as Forrest Gump, Big, Splash and The Da Vinci Code. They don’t do it in a clever way, like Family Guy would, for example, and that makes this one of the most overhyped videos ever uploaded to Youtube.
If there’s any slight plus for this video, it’s that it makes reference to the much underrated Joe Versus The Volcano.
