Kidnap will kidnap two hours of your time if you go and see this revenge thriller rubbish from Halle Berry.
She plays a mother who’s in such a hurry, the producers haven’t yet been able to name her. However, as the trailer shows, she loses her son at a park, and then gives chase in her car. The billing states “A mother stops at nothing to recover her kidnapped son”, but she still seems to stop the car, so how on earth does she catch up with the ne’er-do-well who took him?
Director Luis Prieto and screenwriter Knate Gwaltney aren’t telling, as they pull out one cliche after another in this film which also stars Robert Walker Branchaud, Dana Gourrier, Lew Temple, Christopher Berry and Justin Lebrun, plus a load of other people you’ve never heard of.
Kidnap hasn’t even yet for a release date in the UK or US, so someone’s kidnapped that as well.
Kidnap: Just pray someone kidnaps you on the way to the cinema if you plan to see this.
