2:22 is so-called because Dylan’s (Michiel Huisman – The Age of Adeline) life is derailed when an ominous pattern of events repeats itself in exactly the same manner every day, ending at precisely 2:22pm.
I love films about time-travel or messing about with time, but in this case, the trope is used solely to end up as romantic slush fodder as he co-stars opposite Teresa Palmer (the Point Break remake) as Sarah. Hence, spend your time more wisely doing something else.
2:22 hasn’t yet got a release date in either US or UK, but I’m not counting the hours until it is given one.
Director: Paul Currie
Screenplay: Todd Stein, Nathan Parker
Also stars: Sam Reid, Maeve Dermody
