Heartstopper is a heartfelt teen comedy-drama based in and around a British grammar school. The series follows a shy, awkward Charlie (the only openly gay student at the school) and his blossoming romance with Nick, the popular rugby kid of the school. While the series tackles difficult issues like coming out and peer pressure, Heartstopper’s main elements are hope, charm, and joy. The phenomenal cast is made up of young LGBT actors, not to forget guest appearances by no other than Olivia Colman!
