Even if you think you’ve watched everything on Netflix, we promise you’ll find something below that you haven’t feasted your eyes on just yet. Here are 10 of the top-rated Netflix series you need to stick on and binge-watch today!

Ash Vs Evil Dead

Taking place 3 decades after Sam Raimi’s original Evil Dead trilogy, this quirky horror-comedy features Bruce Campbell coming back to his iconic role as Ash Williams for a final round of slaying. After spending several decades fluttering between dead-end jobs and small towns, Ash is now stuck working at Value Mart as a shelf stacker – that is until he gets stoned! Ash is still an idiot. However, he is pretty handy with his chainsaw and shotgun! If you’re looking for an easy watch, Ash Vs Evil Dead comes in 30 half-hour instalments, making it a perfect option.

Brand New Cherry Flavour

We must warn you, in this limited horror series there is a ton of kitten vomiting. To put your mind at rest, we don’t mean little felines vomiting! Instead, almost every episode sees aspiring film director Lisa Nova actually vomiting up a baby cat! We appreciate that this sounds incredibly crazy. But, that’s the nature of the show! Brand New Cherry Flavour is visceral and graphic in nature, meaning it’s definitely not for the faint-hearted or squeamish! If you need a bit of relief in between episodes, why not play some games at Online Casinos? You’ll have fun and have something to do while you wait for a new episode or relax after a particularly graphic one.

The Sandman

The Sandman is one of the most loved comic series over the last 4 decades. This series is a story about stories and how Morpheus (the Lord of Dreams) is captured and subsequently learns that sometimes change has to happen. The Sandman series was developed by Neil Gaiman, Allan Heinberg, and David S. Goyer and is produced by Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment. We promise that the Netflix adaptation is certainly worth the wait. In fact, it’s the perfect translation of the first graphic novels in the series.

Love, Death + Robots

Created by Tim Miller, the director of Deadpool, Love, Death + Robots is perhaps Netflix’s most bold animated series to date. This is an anthology series where the only common theme is each episode’s unique understanding of that eponymous trio of themes. When you start binge-watching this series, you’re treated to wild concepts, such as deadly gladiatorial twists, super-powered exoplanetary colonists, and cute robots that have outlived humanity! The great thing about this series is you just never know what you are going to get as each episode starts. And after all, that’s half the fun of it, right?

8 Top-Rated Netflix Series You Need to Binge-Watch Right Now

Dead End: Paranormal Park

Haunted houses are just gimmicks, right? That is what Barney thinks when he applies for a position at one. He’s desperate for any role that would give him the push to get out of his mother’s home. Turns out, the tourist trap Dead End is actually a portal to hell! Dead End: Paranormal Park offers a brilliant mixture of heart and horror, with a welcome slice of authentic LGBT+ representation both on the screen and behind. For those who enjoy the likes of The Owl House or Gravity Falls, this series is perfect for you!

Heartstopper

You’ll have had to have been living under a rock if you’ve not heard of Heartstopper yet. This Netflix series has been at the forefront of the main page for many weeks (and for good reason!). Heartstopper is a heartfelt teen comedy-drama based in and around a British grammar school. The series follows a shy, awkward Charlie (the only openly gay student at the school) and his blossoming romance with Nick, the popular rugby kid of the school. While the series tackles difficult issues like coming out and peer pressure, Heartstopper’s main elements are hope, charm, and joy. The phenomenal cast is made up of young LGBT actors, not to forget guest appearances by no other than Olivia Colman! If there’s one thing we can say, Heartstopper is a series for all ages and backgrounds.

Orange Is the New Black

While you may see the name and think ‘hasn’t this been around for many years?’ you would be right! However, we have to include it in the list for many reasons. To date, Orange Is the New Black remains as one of Netflix’s best shows. The 7-season prison drama begins by following Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) as she’s whisked off to Litchfield Penitentiary for drug smuggling offences. However, before long the show blossoms into a show about the lives and backgrounds of the people she is incarcerated with. The extensive list cast includes the likes of Laverne Cox, Kate Mulgrew and Uzo Abuda. In the later seasons, OTINB gets progressively more serious. The show explores issues of justice, corruption, race, and of course, the unsurprising flaws of the entire prison system.

Dear White People

Based on a film sharing the same name, Dear White People is an original American comedy by Netflix. The show follows a group of students of colour who attend a predominately white Ivy League college. Dear White People largely covers the same ground as the film. But, in series format, each episode unveils the story of a different character. Here, it dives deeper into their lives and individual personalities. Don’t worry, there are plenty of laughs along the way too! The show originally came to prominence in 2017, with the fourth season of the show debuting in September 2021.

Whether you’re after a good old laugh, a sob, some excitement, or a show that will keep you on the edge of your seat, it’s safe to say that Netflix has it all and then some. Whatever series catches your eye, if there’s one thing we can guarantee, it’s that you’ll have a hard time switching over!
