Assassin’s Creed Unity is the latest title in the Assassin’s Creed series and is due out on PS4, Xbox One and PC towards the end of the year.
Following the main trailers released online, there’s now also a single player gameplay trailer and one also for the signature weapon – the Phantom Blade.
The team behind it confirm they have been working on it for more than three years and although they say they weren’t quite ready to show off their full vision for a next-gen only title, Abstergo were trying to force their hand. Hence, here’s a true first look at in-game footage from Assassin’s Creed Unity, and many more exciting details are due in the months ahead.
Paris, 1789. The French Revolution turns a once magnificent city into a place of terror and chaos. Its cobblestoned streets run red with the blood of commoners who dare to rise up against an oppressive aristocracy. Yet as the nation tears itself apart, a young man named Arno will embark upon an extraordinary journey to expose the true powers behind the Revolution. His pursuit will throw him into the middle of a ruthless struggle for the fate of a nation, and transform him into a true Master Assassin.
Loads of new trailers have been released at E3 2014 so I’m going to try and catch up with as many as possible because there’s a slew of fantastic games on their way between now, up until Christmas and beyond!
