Assetto Corsa Rally follows on from Assetto Corsa EVO, earlier this year, being a driving game which is far more precise than I’ve ever come across.
Going for the Rally-style this time round, I’m very familiar with playing a lot of the WRC titles, but while it took me a little bit of time to get the hang of things with that one, this is really taking it out on me.
For a moment, I thought the game wasn’t functioning as it should, since I played the first race in each of the Saverne and Hafren South segments, but then I learned I need to finish in the top 3 out of 31 race cars… and I was No.31.
I’m finding myself sliding all over the road like there’s no tomorrow, but looking at the reviews on Steam, it appears that if you’re a petrolhead, Assetto Corsa Rally is absolutely bang-on for how it should handle.
Hence, like with the first game, it’s less โarcadeyโ and more Gran Turismo, so this does look absolutely stunning, but I’m rubbish at it ๐
Thanks to our friends at 505 Games for the review code for this game.
Assetto Corsa Rally is out now on PC/Steam.
