Bang Bang Baby stars Jane Levy as Stepphy, a small town teenager in the 1960s who believes her dreams of becoming a famous singer will come true when her rock star idol gets stranded in town. However, a leak in a nearby chemical plant – that is believed to be causing mass mutations – threatens to turn her dream into a nightmare.
Also starring Peter Stormare, Justin Chatwin and Nick Bateman, I wasn’t sold on this originally as it seemed very straight-forward, but when the sci-fi element kicked in, it started to have a ring of The Rocky Horror Show about it, in terms of it just turning plain weird, and with Stormare’s involvement, I think it is certainly worth a watch.
Bang Bang Baby hasn’t yet got a UK release date but is due out some time in 2015.
