Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice follows on from 2013’s Man of Steel and after two trailers there’s now, after the sneak peek, the teaser and two trailers, there’s now the Official Final Trailer!
At first, I felt it was far too soon for a new Batman movie after Christopher Nolan’s trilogy completed with The Dark Knight Rises in 2012, and I still have no idea why he’s fighting Superman, but… I’m getting more sold on this the more I see it. The previous trailer did that for me.
Don’t get me wrong – Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill are still very average actors, but Gal Gadot is stunning as Wonder Woman – giving the two leads a neat exchange: “She with you??”, “I thought she was with you?!” – and Jesse Eisenberg is perfectly evil as Lex Luthor.
Actually… yes, it’s STILL definitely too soon for a new Batman film.
Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto and Ray Fisher.
Batman Vs Superman was originally due for release in the UK on April 29th 2016, but was then brought forward a few weeks to March 25th 2016.
Back in May last year, the new Batmobile was revealed. And the car may look cool… but it’s still got Ben Affleck in the film. Boooooooo!

The IMAX released exclusive art depicts Batman and Superman at war with one another while the world decides which hero it will choose to stand behind. Select sequences in the movie were filmed with IMAX cameras to put movie-goers in the middle of the action. Fearing the actions of Superman are left unchecked, Batman takes on Superman, while the world wrestles with what kind of a hero it really needs. With Batman and Superman fighting each other, a new threat, Doomsday, is created by Lex Luthor. It’s up to Superman and Batman to set aside their differences along with Wonder Woman to stop Lex Luthor and Doomsday from destroying Metropolis.
