Demonic centres on the aftermath of a horrific massacre, of five college students, all brutally murdered inside a decrepit, abandoned home.
Fresh on the scene, detective Mark Lewis (Frank Grillo) and the police departments psychologist, Dr. Elizabeth Klein (Maria Bello), question one of the few survivors, who explains they were amateur ghost hunters seeking out paranormal phenomenon at the abandoned house, believed to be haunted.
What started out as a harmless activity turned into something truly terrifying, and the suspect claims the responsibility doesn’t lie with any of the inhabitants but with the house itself.
Also starring Cody Horn, Dustin Milligan and Megan Park, Demonic does look very ‘seen it all before’, but you can see it all again… whenever it gets released in the UK. So far, there’s no release date yet over here, nor for the US. It came out in February in Brazil, however.
The film is also produced by James Wan, who directed The Conjuring, Insidious, Insidious Chapter 2 and… erm… Fast And Furious 7.
