DOMINO

Domino, written by Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko), tells the real-life storyof Domino Harvey, daughter of actor Laurence Harvey, who starred in theoriginal version of The Manchurian Candidate. She quit a career as a Fordmodel to become a bounty hunter. Suvari will play a producer’s assistant.
THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA
Sean Connery is apparently very interested in providing the voice for themighty lion Aslan in the upcoming Narnia adaptations. Connery famouslydeclined roles in The Matrix and The Lord Of The Rings, and was thenflummoxed when both trilogies became huge box-office hits. His frustrationled him to headline League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen – which flopped withaudiences worldwide.
THE ITALIAN JOB 2
‘Paramount Pictures’ are in talks to bring back The Italian Job stars MarkWahlberg, Charlize Theron, Seth Green, Mos Def and Jason Statham for thesequel being developed by producer John Goldwyn, reports ‘Variety’.
While the script is not finished, the goal is to start filming in late Marchfor a November 2005 release. F. Gary Gray, who directed last year’s $106million blockbuster remake of the 1969 original, will be the first choice tohelm the sequel.
The sequel script is being penned by Wayne and Donna Powers, thehusband-and-wife team who wrote the remake and set it in Venice andHollywood. Primary locations in the sequel are expected to be St. Tropez,Paris and the French Alps.
MIAMI VICE’Latino Review’ spoke with Jamie Foxx (Collateral), who confirmed he will beworking again with Collateral director Michael Mann on an adaptation ofMann’s 1980’s cop drama Miami Vice.
Foxx says he’s attached to star as Detective Ricardo Tubbs, played byMichael Thomas in the series, saying: “Yeah man, it’s happening.”

Kinberg also worked on the script for next year’s Fantastic Four, theupcoming xXx sequel with Ice T (which is said to be better than theoriginal), and Mr & Mrs Smith with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
With original director Bryan Singer now involved with Superman, attentionturns to who will helm X3. The only candidate mentioned so far has been JossWhedon (TV’s Buffy), who is currently working on a movie version of hiscancelled TV sci-fi series Firefly.
SPACEBALLS 2In a Q&A with ‘Playbill magazine’, Mel Brooks confirmed he’s working on aSpaceballs sequel, saying: “… I’m writing myself back into the Spaceballssequel that I’m now writing, so you haven’t seen the last of my face. Whyanother Spaceballs? It wouldn’t feel right have anyone else play Yoghurt andthe first one was the best experience I’ve had making a movie since BlazingSaddles.”
“[It’ll hopefully be released] a week before the new Star Wars opens. WorstCase Scenario: a year after the new Star Wars opens.”
